Back from Work to get started on Work

This past weekends, my friends and I happened to opened a booth in an anime convention called C2AGE 2015 at Help International School. We sell anime badges, nenderoids, sutekkas and figmas. It was a great experience knowing how does it feels to be a vendor from their perspective. Now we have to work instead of having fun at the event. I had to wake up early in the morning to pick up my friends and drive all the way to a deserted location just to set-up a booth before the event starts. By 10a.m, people started coming in and we started to promote our stuff for sale.

Welcome to our booth: Day 1

More stuff happened on Day 2

For those that visited our booth during the event, thank you for your support. We were really thankful for your contributions just by checking out what we sell. Our company name is under Anime Access which would be awesome if you guys could help us like and share our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/animeaccess1863 to check out more awesome anime stuff online X).

Of course, we didn't just sit at our booth for both days. We repeately took shifts of 2 hours for the whole day which stacked up to 7p.m. It was really exhausting but by the end of the day, we were really excited on our sales income because we actually earned pure profit from our revenue.

Aside from us working as vendors, we also joined some event activities during the 2nd day. As you all know, a Taiwan cosplayer, "King" came to Malaysia as our VIP guest for this event and they hold a 'meet and greet' session for everyone to get signatures and selfies with her.

This represents one of Anime Access greatest accomplishment, getting our postcard signed by "King". Special thanks to Milton Leong, our artist for drawing our mascot and me!!! standing in queue for more than AN HOUR!!! just to get "King" to sign it. WORTH IT!!!

By the end of the event, we celebrated our success with a great feast in a Japanese restaurant.

Gambei in Sushi Flash.
Surprisingly, it was Milton's birthday as well 0.0 but we all just replaced the fun by counting the money we've earned on our sales and we still have remaining badges for future sales. Overall, after all we've been through on opening a booth in an anime convention for the FIRST TIME!!! We're are going to aim even higher by opening a booth at Comic Fiesta. Either 2015 or 2016, we are going to do the exact same thing with only more variety of anime stuff to sell than before. By then, stay tune for more updates on how we are going process it. Thanks for reading X)

Out of Freedom.

In all my hopes, I've always wanted to write a blog through broken English but I never did. For some reason, I always thought that I was obligated to write blogs in a proper manner. But after gone through some realization for these past few weeks. I feel this should be a place where I can express myself how ever I see fit. So here it goes, my first blog written in broken English. Hopefully you guys don't find it difficult to understand since I believe that most of you had use it in your daily lives.

Here it goes...
Hello everybody, today i tell u how much i have been feeling this pass few weeks. its so exhausting to keep up with my college assignments. got stuff to do and more stuff to print and also need to prepare more stuff for my oral group presentation. surprisingly it was at first nervous, but when i stand in front. walao weh, i'm so geng lorh. spoke like a real kingsman without even needing to read my cue cards. damn. but everything screws up when my teammates take over. in the end, we received more than half the mark larh. i guess thats counted as a pass lorh.

It was really stressful though. almost everyday i have to keep up to my college schedule and my business schedule with Anime Access and cardfightvanguard stuff. recently, i started to learn japanese language. juz the basics with the "a, i, u, e, o" (not english). i'm sure its going to become harder to learn. but since i am planning to go to japan by the end 2015. i feel that i should at least learn the simple stuff for japanese language. improve communication wan.

I also started playing league of legends again. only for the sake of getting free stuff from some online points collection. since i dun have to win to get the points. i might as well play 1 game per day. should be ok larh since 1 game only like around 30-60 minutes....

Most of my friend started college right about now. congratulations on ur enrollment my friends. i hope college was fun...... for the first week...... and now let the stuff work stacking began. good luck, btw, cooperation is highly needed by the end of ur semester no matter what course u take. so make as much new friends as possible.... if u're reading this, u know what i mean (group assignment). but i can say that college is definitely better than any other school u have been through in life. doesn't matter what college. cuz right now, u're literally free. juz be free and start being awesome. do awesome stuff and things while u're in college. and also go out... i dunno where u wanna go. juz go out somewhere. dun stay at home everyday. if u stay at home everyday, u might as well become a mushroom larh ok.

Also, now is the best time to make a decision whether u wan girlfriend or not. up to u. u choose, not he or she choose. u the man and u know it. so be awesome and choose wisely. dun be like that idiot who follows the girl on whatever grail she picks for him and he drinks it and then he become bones. and that old knight guy said that he have chosen poorly..... X) u know what i mean.

1 last thing to mention is that... u're gonna die pretty fast.... amazing how time flies by right... i mean like wow... we're in college.... sooner or later, we're getting a job and a family and then we grow old and then we die. but while we're still here, lets leave our legacy of FLAMING WINGS in here. u know, juz in case when stuff happens. hey u never know. others than that, made the odds be ever in ur favor and then throw it away. remade that favor only to show off that u're able to do it twice while others barely even catch up on completing the first one. XD GG#WIN-LIAO-LORH#BECOS-I-SAID-BURN.COM

And it ends here. I'm sure most of you would not enjoy that, but I'll never do it again. In all honesty, I was really stressed out with college assignments and I've been wanting to do something to let out the pressure. If I were to write a blog formally, I'm pretty sure that I would be adding fuel to my fire... so in my ways to be free from this stress, I think this is probably one of the new ways I've found out about releasing my stress. I deeply apologize for those that find it difficult to understand and I do hope that you guys would still continue on to read my future blogs. Thank you :)

The amount we have.

We were often told to do our best in almost anything in order to achieve our goals. But we never know what is the definition of "best" from the person who told us and from the our perspective when we think of the "best". Example: Your parents would say something like "do your best in your final exam" and in their minds, they would probably define "best" as in getting A in your exam. Meanwhile in our brains, we would probably think "if we get C in our exam, that's the "best" we could ever have". SEE THE DIFFERENCE?

We can't really read each other's mind, but we are given enough information in guessing what the other person might be thinking. That's how we overcome obstacles in life. But what we don't know is that how many ways are there in reaching the same destination with different solutions. If you believe that you can only make "good" things with "good" materials or that you can only achieve a "good" career with a "good" education certificate, please stop reading this. If you are given a limited amount of money to survive for a period of time, have you ever ask yourself how you would use the money to maximize your survival. Most people would calculate how much money they can spend by dividing the amount of money equally to the amount of time in that period. That way they will know what are their limits, avoiding any insufficient usage. It's logical that if you want to be able to achieve something, you must be able to know what are your limits. What are you capable of doing with that limited amount of money will determined how awesome you are in your survival.

However, what happens if you desire more than just survival? What happens if you have the desire to survive in a more luxurious way. Would tell yourself to just give up on that luxurious thought? or would try to find a way to achieve that luxurious life? But you would have to take risks if you plan to make your life luxurious. Example: You choose to find a way to make your survival much better. That would mean that you will need more money. But how can you get more money? Simple, invest half of your money on an item and make a business out of it by selling the item through the market. Make a profit and poof, your survival rate just got better. But what happens when you invested on an item and no one buys it? Well that would mean that you can't spend anything within that half period of time and that would probably mean you're screwed. That is the risk. So most people would pick the safer way out. They'll just keep themselves alive with a limit set on their heads. They will never know how much potential they have if they keep playing safe.

This just proved that most of us will only do something if there is a safe route in front of us. Because of risks existing in an alternative path, they ignore to take that route fearing they might fall and never rise again. Even so, do you really believe that the safe route will lead you to your success in the future? I can tell you this, you can have the best coffee beans to make the best coffee in the whole world. But if the way you approach in handling them is bad, you will end up making the worst coffee that anyone has ever drank. Just because you have "good" quality coffee beans doesn't mean that you will be able to make "good" quality coffee. If you brew them without care, they will not turn out well. The opposite is also true, even if you have cheap coffee beans. If you brew them carefully, they will turn out to be favorable and you might just find yourself opening a coffee shop in a blink of an eye.

So if the next time you got something "good", start thinking how to bring out the best qualities of that "good". It might just be the opportunity for you to reach your true goal in a split second.

Changes Began within us.

Ever wondered how people used to communicate with each other back in the old days where social network hasn't existed yet? Let me tell you something, I bet they would say "I had a better life than you right now" These days, most of us (including me) used smartphones and simple devices in order to make friends and join group communities that are difficult to be found. Thank god that technology improved and enhance our mobile tech and we were able to get ourselves involve in almost every activity event that we have ever dreamed about achieving. Strange... technology was suppose to change us for the better in order to make our lives more convenient but it almost felt like we were being taken over by a non-living thing...

For these past few days, I went to a camp where we improve our personality. It was organized by the Shine Award Center in Taylor's University called the Shine Discovery Session. It was a free field trip for all the students who join the Shine program so I figured I could have some fun going jungle trekking and I even did the flying fox activity (it was awesome, it felt like I was flying through the air!!!). But here's the catch, if a student were to join this field trip, they will be living in an "Orang Asli" settlement for 3 days, 2 nights WITHOUT any line connection to the outside world. That means, even if you had the best connection if the whole world. You won't be able to contact or receive any transmission from your friends and family... I knew the risk and I'm sure nothing will happen for a 3 days, 2 night stay. But once I got back to KL, I can hear small continuous gun shots from miy Facebook notification and Whatsapp messages vibrating on my phone (let the scrolling began). It basically means that I was able to survive more than 48 hours of no technology from the outside world. And it made think that how much things could have happened when a mobile-addicted person had his gadgets taken away from him for more than 24 hours... He would probably go insane...

But to me, I didn't know that technology could changed us this much.... it made me remembered a video that I watched recently in my class: Z7dLU6fk9QY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7dLU6fk9QY After watching that, I think you already know what you should do. GO.

Does it Stack?

It's been quite long that I haven't blogged about anything yet. Let's just say I was really busy and barely got anytime to go online and blog. By busy I mean both with college life and with my free time. As time slowly goes by, I started thinking will my studies get harder to a point where I go insane all over again like SPM stress mode... The assignments are simple but it's flooding my life to a point where I can't even take my eyes off the screen for a moment (because all my assignments are uploaded online in their website). However, I would say that the campus's environment is well-built for students to study in a relaxing surrounding. The library especially is awesome enough to suit a quiet environment for students to really finish their project assignments. But homework will continuously be handed to us and if we do not complete them, marks will be deducted from our result for the whole semester (it consist of 10% from our total score).

I still did get my free time such as playing LOL and hangout with my friends. Recently, I just watched the Avengers: Age of Ultron movie and it was quite a disappointment seeing how it ends. It was enjoyable but compare to the first movie, I liked Avengers better than Age of Ultron. (SPOILER ALERT): Vision, Thor and Captain America are the only ones worthy to hold the hammer, Mjolnir in the comic. Vision just did it in this movie and I bet it's an only matter of time before Captain America does it too (I mean we all saw him pull out the hammer a LITTLE bit in the trailer, so it's pretty obvious.) I was already in the hype-train for Age of Ultron to a point where I would even buy it's movie popcorn set combo.

First day on the first show time of the movie XD

Look at chibi Iron-Man!!! Although I don't know why am I so addicted to it, only to realize that the movie didn't exceed my expectations. It felt like the hype-train just got into a complete stop when the movie ends. I never knew that excitement can be stacked until it falls when you saw what the hype was all about. At some point in life, we will always see ourselves rise along the ride with how we progress our work, only to see ourselves fall when realizing the results of our hard work being wasted. Such a shame. It's even more pity depending on how much we stack.

Stress Mode Activated

University life is stressful.... I do admit that it's at least much better than my old miserable high school life back in the old days. But surprisingly in university, you literally gained control of EVERYTHING in your life. And when I said everything, I meant literally everything is under your control and your responsibility as well.

Will the teacher (lecturers) give you homework (assignments) and tell you to finish them before some day? Nope, The tasks are all uploaded on their website and if we want to do it, we would need to find it ourselves. If we don't complete their assignments, will they punish us? Nope, they'll do something like "well too bad, no marks for you on this assignment" :) And what are the subjects (module) that you are supposed to take for this semester? Go find it yourselves on the website, don't be lazy...

See what I mean...

If you fail any of your exams, will they let you continue to learn? Nope, retake the whole semester until you passed :) Must you join extra co-curricular activities? Nope, we don't give a damn about whether do you want to join any one of them or not. You literally have to take care of your own educational life style when the moment you entered college. The transition from high school to university is quite rough at first, but you will get used to it eventually. As assignments, I wouldn't say they give a lot of them. But it's enough to keep you busy for a whole day. Making friends would be your biggest problem of all. Even though the orientation allows you to introduce yourselves to one another, by the end of the week you will still become a lonely stranger to everyone unless you really start talking to people.

So far I am trying to get involve in college activities just to make more friends, but it would seems that is taking a huge amount of time away from my hobbies. Even when I joined the Anime Club, I still didn't make much friends on the opening party. At the moment, I am planning to open an anime booth sale in the campus and I hope this doesn't screwed up my reputation in my university life...

Life just got ANIMATED!!! in a Bad Way...

As you all have know, I just started college about a week ago and the orientation was great until it slowly became serious. The fourth day of the orientation week is clubs and society day in which seniors would start scouting recruits to join their club/society. Of course we get to choose on whether do we want to join that club or not but by the end of the day, all students would at least have to be in a club and the first one I joined immediately when I entered the hall is the Anime Club!!! (it's pretty obvious). They did a pretty good job on designing the sign-up booth, attracting quite a lot of random students. I ended up helping them promoting the club after signing up.

They even got their on mascot to represent the founder of the club. Surprisingly the club's leader is one of the regulars at Little Akiba in Subang Jaya SS15 which I met a couple of times. They are planning to throw the new recruits a welcome party for joining the club this coming Friday (can't wait). Overall, It was a fun week until Animax Carnival 2015 arrived...
These past weekend was just one of those unlucky days for me. Animax Carnival 2015 kind of sucked this year, not much enjoyment can be felt than before. reasons:
1. Queuing process was just bullshit (lined up in a zig-zag and after finally got out of the queue only to see MORE zig-zag queuing -.-)
2. Security was so much that they had no idea what to do with them anymore ( i guess no thievery occurred this year...)
3. Games are to hard to play and everyone just kind of gives up around halfway.
4. Nothing much to window-shop because most sections are just promoting Animax channel and drinks...
5. live show sucks.
6. Free gifts are pretty cheap (literally cheap to a point where they can't even give a proper size memo pad) and a free balloon which could float away if you don't hold it tightly...
7. Really bored to a point where you can just run in and out of the event hall for more than 3 times within an hour....

Rating: 2.5/10. It's literally not as exciting as it would seem to be, (pictures are taken for documentaries).

By tomorrow, it will be just like my school (college) days all over again in which I would have to wake up early in the morning and go for classes (lectures) to learn (listen) from teachers (lecturers) and do more homework (assignments) and projects (more assignment) -.-... I don't really see much difference in myself compared to last year (sigh). I did make some good sales in my small business and bought some anime merchandise at the event.

By the end of this week, most anime have already ended and I would have to renewed my list of "Must Watch Anime" at the same time keep up with my college life. This would pretty much took over my time playing PC games like Dragon Nest and League of Legends (gaming life)... All for the sake of achieving my career, I definitely need to improve my time management or I'm screwed and might be dishonored by my family.... (GOD THE STRESS!!!)
